 The RSIC-DC04® is a versatile clip that can be used to soundproof a ceiling, garage door (motors or rails), speakers, vent fans, recessed lights, projector mounts, electrical boxes, ceiling fans, and more.

Installation Instructions

• Fasten the Resilient Sound Isolation Clip (RSIC-DC04®) to the wood or metal studs members with approved fasteners.

• Resilient Sound Isolation Clip (RSIC-DC04®) shall be Maximum 48 inches by 48 inches on center maximum.

• Place 1/4” threaded rod secured through the internal ferrule of the RSIC-DC04® clip with nuts and a fender washer to support the large side of the RSIC-DC04® clip rubber section.

• When using tie wire attached to the RSIC-DC04® clip to hang a drywall grid ceiling follow the installation instruction provided by the manufacturer of the grid ceiling system.

• Seal all potential air leaks with non-hardening acoustical caulking to achieve best noise control results. Use fire rated sealant where required.
